Nginx 1 Web Server Implementation Cookbook ReviewThis book tosses out examples with little or no explanations. It does call itself a cookbook and you might copy the examples to solve what they try to solve, but you will probably end up more confused about how nginx works. Good cookbooks manage to teach you why things are done in addition to how, not this one. I picked the book up to get more insight into the proxy caching functionality of nginx since I'm not completely happy with the performance I see with my current configuration, but the examples were on the get started level and you can get that with better explanation from the nginx wiki.I would not recommend this book to anyone, but a total beginner who must have a book about nginx might get something from this book.Nginx 1 Web Server Implementation Cookbook OverviewThis is a cookbook full of illustrations and diagrams to help you implement your web needs with Nginx, with a focus on practical examples.
